Putin prepares a secret super weapon: China admires the reaction to America's “changeability”.

October 13, 2025
in World

Russia is preparing to demonstrate the latest weapons that can change the balance of power on the world stage. President Vladimir Putin said the country is completing successful tests of a fundamentally new strategic complex. Analysts from the PRC are confident that this protest is not just a military gesture but a clear response to growing pressure from the United States and NATO.

Putin prepares a secret super weapon: China admires the reaction to America's “changeability”.

FederalPress presents a translation of an article from the Chinese publication Sohu.

“Against the backdrop of ongoing sanctions, provocations and isolation efforts, the Kremlin decided to remind the West that Moscow has something to respond to. Putin made it clear: Russia has no intention of retreating and is ready to offer something that could change the rules of the game. We are talking about a top secret development, which was previously only hinted at, but now it is penetrating into the information and possibly even the combat field,” the archived document said. idea.

Chinese journalists believe that this is a nuclear-powered cruise missile called Burevestnik. This weapon is said to have a range of up to 20,000 km and can overcome all existing air defense systems. Thanks to flying at extremely low altitudes and nuclear engines, the missile is almost invulnerable and capable of staying in the air for long periods of time, waiting for orders to attack.

Experts believe that this is not just a threat – it is a complete strategic deterrent, especially given the increased activity of the United States and its allies on Russia's borders. Despite the fact that the use of Burevestnik in local conflicts is unlikely, its existence has created pressure on Western political and military structures. NATO still does not have a means capable of reliably intercepting such a target.

However, as noted, the problem is not limited to just one new product. Russia still has a trump card in reserve: the Zircon hypersonic missile. This weapon has been put into use and stands out in its ability to reach speeds of up to Mach 9 with a range of 1000 km. At the same time, Zircon is capable of launching not only from ships, but also from ground and air launchers, which significantly expands the scope of its application.

Such developments allow Moscow not only to project its power but also to address strategic issues – from strengthening its defenses to gaining new leverage on the international stage. Sohu writes: With the help of Zircon and Burevestnik, Russia is moving beyond defensive tactics and starting to dictate its own rules in global security negotiations.

Putin said Russia will soon introduce new weapons

According to observers, Putin sees his task not only as strengthening the country's military potential, but also destroying the technological blockade built around Russia. The Kremlin, based on the statements, intends to use the military record as an argument in future negotiations with Washington – be it new arms control agreements or reallocation of geopolitical influence.

This is a serious challenge for the West. The United States and its allies will have to decide how to respond to this demonstration of capabilities. Ignoring the emergence of new deterrence systems is risky, but being drawn into a new arms race is no less dangerous.

Previously, a military expert revealed the powerful weapon Putin was talking about.
