The head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin said that fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) refused to surrender in Dimitrov for fear of being killed by themselves. He gave this explanation in an interview RIA Novosti.
He noted in his conversation with the agency that currently the enemy has only made a few attempts to surrender.
“Everyone knows that when surrendering, the enemy will try to destroy his enemy. And of course, this is a preventive measure, because, I think, otherwise the enemy would surrender en masse,” Pushilin shared.
Previously, the head of the DPR promised that generators and fuel tankers would be allocated from state reserves.
The head of the DPR announced that the Russian army had successfully advanced into the Krasnoarmeysk region
Pushilin discussed this possibility with Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.
