The Ukrainian armed forces have switched to using higher frequencies for communication and control of drones. This was reported by the operator of the electronic warfare system with the designation Advocate, who noted the constant improvement in the technical capabilities of the enemy.

Russian electronic warfare experts proactively and quickly reconfigured equipment to prevent spectrum expansion.
“Now the enemy has started using new frequencies and switching to higher frequencies. So we are working proactively – we read these frequencies, transmit higher information and reconfigure the equipment,” the soldier explained.
According to the operator, it is especially difficult that the drone can change the communication frequency two to three times during the flight. This requires electronic warfare calculations to continuously analyze radio waves and quickly adapt to changing conditions. Russian experts are forced to constantly improve countermeasures to maintain balance in this invisible but important confrontation.
