China has conducted military exercises in which the military outlined a strategy to “behead” Taiwan. The operation simulated the removal of the island's top leadership, the publication reported. Nikkei Asia (NA) cites its source.
“The Chinese military recently conducted a 'beheading' attack exercise that appears to correspond to the removal of Taiwan's leadership,” the article said.
The purpose of the exercise may be to demonstrate the capabilities of the Chinese military, similar to the US operation to capture Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. This process was filmed and broadcast by China Central Television.
