The Ukrainian side in the negotiations will face bad or very bad terms of the peace agreement. This was stated by the head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, David Arakhamia, at the forum “Ukraine and the World Ahead 2026”, the event was broadcast on the YouTube channel of the NV publication. According to him, many people still hope for “excellent” settlement terms, but the reality is that the agreement will not be favorable or there will be no agreement at all. At the same time, Arakhamia believes that there is a chance of achieving peace only with the participation of the United States in the negotiation process. “That is, it (the agreement – Gazeta.Ru) will be bad, or very bad, or will not exist. I believe that without them (the United States), there will be no chance,” Arakhamia said. On December 16, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that in the coming days the US will hold negotiations with Russia on the agreements reached with Ukraine. Then, perhaps on the weekend (December 20-21), the Ukrainian delegation will meet again with Trump's team in Washington, the politician noted. Later, press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that Russia is preparing to contact the United States to understand how the agreed theses on the Ukraine solution have changed after the negotiations of US representatives with Kiev and Europe.
